Massage
In the past, most people considered massage treatment to be an indulgence that they experienced only a few times a year, or often even less. I’ve even met some people who’ve never had a massage in their entire life! Fortunately, today more and more of us are recognizing the value of therapeutic touch. Plus, it feels great!
I practice three different types of massage: Deep Tissue or Swedish, Traditional Thai, and Reflexology.

Swedish massage is what most people think of when they think of massage. It involves kneading, pressing and manipulation of soft body tissues, with the client relaxing undressed (but properly draped) on a table. This is the form that I use in combined treatments.
Traditional Thai massage (also known as Nuad Boran) is practiced on the floor with the client fully clothed, and consists of long stretches and compression. Many people refer to it as Yoga that someone does for you. Wear loose, comfortable clothes if you want to receiving this type of massage.
Reflexology makes use of precise pressure applied to “reflex zones” on the hands and feet to effect changes in the entire body in a manner similar to the way acupuncture works.
All three of these forms are enjoyable and relaxing, and all can be part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
